Our Approach


It is our firm belief that selling is, first and foremost a people business. By and large our customers are discerning, high net worth individuals for whom a second home or investment property is an entirely discretionary purchase. We believe in a subtle, informal approach best achieved by highly motivated and well trained staff of extremely high quality.

We also believe that like all other professional sales roles, there is a science to real estate marketing. The subtlety of our customer care belies a systematic, process driven approach to all aspects of our strategy which has been honed over 10 years of directly relevant industry experience.

We have an ongoing strategy to establish new and innovative routes to market, both within the UK and into key international markets. This strategy includes partnerships with prestigious travel, wealth management and event companies and cooperation with real estate agents in target markets such as the US, Canada, Holland, Germany, Scandinavia and Asia.

















Who and How


Who


All consultancy work is carried out by our Managing Director, James Barnes, with the back-up of the Robson Barnes team and of external agencies as required.

James has more than 10 years direct experience of the international real estate industry at senior management level. He has set-up and managed successful sales operations in the UK, Europe, the United States, the Caribbean and Europe on behalf of developments globally. He has also provided a variety of consultancy services to resort developers in Canada, Spain, Portugal, North Africa and throughout the Caribbean.

HoW


Typically we would begin with an initial assessment of the project, which may well include a site visit and meetings with the various staff and professionals involved. Following this assessment, a preliminary report will identify areas where we feel able to provide further assistance, the approach we would take, the results we would expect and the basis by which we charge our fees. We would also clearly identify areas where we feel unable to provide assistance, recommending alternative agencies with whom we have worked in the past.

Having agreed the scope and terms of our assignment, we will work to defined timelines and provide a detailed report with clearly identified goals and the rationale behind them.
